Al Nour Wal Amal’s Vocational Training Center provides practical, market-oriented skills to blind and visually impaired women, enabling economic independence and social inclusion. Training combines hands-on workshops, adaptive tools and career preparation so graduates can find work, start small businesses or continue vocational studies.
The Vocational Training Program at Al Nour Wal Amal provides specialized training for visually impaired women to help them gain independence and professional skills. Through hands-on learning in areas such as sewing, Braille printing, computer literacy, and handicrafts, participants develop abilities that open real employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. The program focuses on empowerment, inclusion, and building confidence to ensure every trainee can contribute productively to society.
All courses are delivered using accessible materials (Braille, large print, tactile models, and audio), adaptive equipment and small class sizes. Trainers are experienced in teaching learners with visual impairment and use multisensory teaching methods that emphasize practice, repetition and confidence building.
Graduates receive a certificate of completion from Al Nour Wal Amal. The center provides career counseling, links to local employers, and support for micro-enterprise start-ups. Where available, trainees are connected to internship placements and partner organizations for real-world experience.
