Al Nour Wal Amal is a non-profit association dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting blind and visually impaired girls and women in Egypt. Since its founding, the association has provided specialized schooling, vocational training, cultural programs, and community services that enable beneficiaries to achieve independence, dignity and social inclusion.

OUR history
Founded with a commitment to equal opportunity, Al Nour Wal Amal has grown into a leading organization for the blind in Egypt. Over the years the association established a school, a cultural center, a vocational training center, a nursery, a guest house and cultural initiatives such as the Al Nour Wal Amal Orchestra and community exhibitions. These services reflect a long-term dedication to education, arts and practical empowerment.

She holds a bachelor's degree in politics and economics from the American University and a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Law, Cairo University, and a master's degree from the Faculty of Law at Harvard University, USA, and joined the office of Dr. Zaki Hashem and became a key partner in it.
She served as the Secretary General of the Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation, then a member of the Board of Trustees, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development, as well as a member of the Egyptian-Swiss Friendship Association, and became an honorary advisor to the Ambassador of Switzerland and the Ambassador of Austria to Egypt.
